Aggie Access Priority Points
Q. How will the Aggie Access priority program be used?
A. Benefits of supporting athletics through the 12th Man Foundation will be fairly distributed among members, based on level of giving, length of membership, number of season tickets purchased and other factors. The aim of the program is to offer equitable access to benefits for faithful supporters.
Q. Why is it necessary to have a points program? What's wrong with the way road
game and post-season tickets have been distributed in the past?
A. Over the history of the 12th Man Foundation, fairness and open information have always been important. However, as we review the historical allocation of donor benefits, there has not been a clearly-defined system in place that was easy to track and understand. Today, with more than 23,000 members, and expanded methods of providing financial support, it has become critically important to establish a "priority point system" consistent with the mission of the Foundation and dealing with all members in a fair, transparent and verifiable manner.
Q. I want to move up the Aggie Access points "ladder" by donating to the 12th Man
Foundation. In what ways can I go about this?
A. All gifts of all sizes impact the lives of our student athletes. You may, of course, make gifts at any time to the 12th Man Foundation by check, credit card or over time. Only gifts actually received will count toward a donor's point total. You may also consider gifts in securities, irrevocable estate gifts and gifts-in-kind. As well, many naming opportunities are available throughout our new and existing athletic facilities. Q. How will road game, bowl game & NCAA post-season tickets be affected?
A. All donor ticket requests will be accepted, with available tickets allocated by priority point total. Due to limited numbers of tickets for some events, it is possible that not all requests can be filled. Additional donations to the 12th Man Foundation will allow the donors to work up the points "ladder" to enhance chances of ordering and receiving high-demand tickets. If two members request to be seated together, they will be seated at the lower priority point total of the two members.
Q. How will football parking be affected by Aggie Access?
A. Donors will be given the opportunity to request parking lots based on their preferences and will then be allocated by priority point total under the following parameters: Only full price priority season tickets will eligible for parking. 12th Man donors may receive a maximum of one (1) Lot A pass and a maximum of two (2) Lot B, C, and D passes. Donors may request more than two (2) spaces in all other parking lots. The chart below shall be used to determine the number of parking passes a member may purchase.
Q. Are points from a Parent's giving transferable to children?
A. Historical points are not transferable from one account to another, however when a charitable gift is made, the member making the gift may specify in writing to have the points placed on an account of their choosing.
Q. How is the Consecutive Years of Giving category calculated in the Aggie Access
A. While all contribution records have been maintained over the Foundation's history, the records of consecutive years of giving have been maintained only since 1993. The 12th Man Foundation does have a year by year breakdown of these transactions to determine consecutive years of giving prior to 1993. Members will receive 25 points for each year of consecutive donations beginning in 1993. In addition, members who were on record as contributing in 1993 will automatically receive 5 years of additional credit back to 1988 with a one time allocation of 125 points. All endowed donors' accounts will be given credit for consecutive giving dating back to the year their endowment was established. All members will have the ability to receive credit for years prior to 1988 by presenting verifiable evidence representing membership in prior years.
Q. What does the Total Giving category include?
A. 12th Man Foundation members will receive points for charitable contributions made through the 12th Man Foundation, that supported Texas A&M athletic programs. Company matching program gifts will be credited to the donors account upon receipt to give full credit for support.
Q. How far back does Total Giving go?
A. All charitable gifts to the 12th Man Foundation over the life of the donor are calculated in the Total Giving category.
Q. I used to have a suite, are my former suite donations reflected in Total Giving?
A. Yes, all suite donations are included in the Total Giving category.
Q. I give a band donation each year, does this count toward the Total Giving category?
A. No, band donations are not receipted by the 12th Man Foundation. All band donations are directed to the Aggie Band.
Q. I have been giving to the 12th Man Foundation for 30 years. How do I prove each
year of giving so I receive 25 points per year for the Giving Prior to 1988 category?
A. Financial statements, donor plaques, membership cards or any statement that has the year and member name included will be sufficient to receive points.
Q. Will my parking space(s) change every year?
A. Parking will be reallocated each year based on your point total as of June 1 of the current year. While there will be movement between parking lots, retaining your membership and season tickets allows the best opportunity to keep your parking area preference.
Q. Why do I not get priority points for baseball season tickets?
A. Since there is not an annual gift to the 12th Man Foundation associated with baseball season tickets, there will not be points awarded per ticket.
Q. I do not have access to a computer, how do I find my point total?
A. Please call 1-888-TAM-12TH and a 12th Man Foundation staff member will assist you in determining your point total.
Q. Will I be required to make an annual donation to purchase priority season tickets?
A. In order to reserve seating through the 12th Man Foundation, you will be required to make an annual charitable donation in addition to the purchase of your season tickets. Minimum total donation of $150 is required to order tickets through the 12th Man Foundation.
Q. I would like to renew my seats for next season. What do I need to do to make
sure my membership is renewed on time?
A. January 1 is the beginning of the annual renewal period. We ask that all donors notify us of their intention no later than January 31. Please contact the 12th Man Foundation office if you have any questions regarding your renewal.
Q. My company has a matching gift program. What do I need to do to apply their matching
gift to my annual donation?
A. Simply contact our office at 1-888-TAM-12TH. We will inform you as to possible matching gift opportunities through your employer, as well as the procedure for completing the donation. Priority Points will not accrue until complete payment (including matching gift) is processed by the 12th Man Foundation.
Q. If I purchase the video program at the end of the season, will I receive all
of the tapes/DVDs from that season?
A. Certainly. Donors purchasing the video package will receive a video of each game for the season in which they sign up.
Q. I do not wish to purchase all of the videos. Is it possible to purchase a tape
of a specific game?
A. Due to production constraints, donors may purchase the season option only.
Q. When are tickets mailed?
A. Season tickets are mailed in mid-August. Individual home game and road game tickets are mailed approximately two weeks before the particular game ordered.
TO ENSURE TIMELY TICKET DELIVERY, PLEASE NOTIFY THE 12TH MAN FOUNDATION OF ADDRESS AND E-MAIL CHANGES BY JUNE 1.
Q. Do I need to purchase a ticket for my infant child, even though he/she will not
occupy a seat?
A. Yes. It is Texas A&M's policy that everyone must have a ticket to enter the stadium regardless of age. This policy is consistent with most other Big 12 schools.
Q. Why are road games listed as "request only?"
A. Some schools don't have their ticket prices set until late spring (after 12th Man Foundation applications are mailed). Additionally, requests for certain games far exceed the actual number of tickets available. By taking requests, only those members who will receive tickets will be billed. The 12th Man Foundation will also notify all those who did not receive tickets. As with other benefits, road game ticket requests will be filled in Priority Point order. Please keep in mind Texas A&M does not receive prime locations to road games.

Q. I want to improve my seating. How does the upgrade process work?
A. The 12th Man Foundation receives approximately 2,000 seat change requests a year. All 2,000 requests are placed in descending order according to the donation per season ticket and Priority Point total. (Note: If two members are requesting to sit together, they will be seated at the lowest per seat donation and Priority Point totals of the two members). All upgrades are based on availability, Priority Point total and non-renewed seats from the previous season. Unfortunately, not all seat change requests can be honored. Here are a few guidelines to remember when asking for seat change:
- Seat-change requests must be in writing and should be mailed with the season ticket application.
- If two or more members are requesting to sit together, applications must be mailed in the same envelope.
- Be as specific as possible. Mention desired deck(s), section(s), row(s) and seat number(s). Upgrades are based on yard-line seating, not height. Therefore, seats may be changed to a section closer to the 50-yard line but with a much higher row unless otherwise specified.
- Include several options for seat changes. Many times the first (or only) seat change request is not available.
Q. Will I be able to renew my Touchdown Terrace discounted season tickets from last
A. Discounted season tickets are not guaranteed from year-to-year. However, if available, you may make specific seat requests.
Q. Is parking guaranteed to all donors?
A. Parking is limited and will be assigned to 12th Man Foundation members based on their Priority Point total and availability. Parking is not guaranteed to all donors. You must purchase a minimum of two full price season tickets to be eligible to receive parking. Discounted season tickets are not eligible for parking through the 12th Man Foundation. However, parking is available for purchase through Transportation Services by visiting their website at: http://transport.tamu.edu.
Q. What do I need to do if I lost/misplaced my tickets or parking pass?
A. Contact the 12th Man Foundation immediately if your tickets are lost or stolen. The 12th Man Foundation is unable to replace lost or stolen parking passes. Please place your tickets and parking pass in a secure location.
PRIORITY PARKING ASSIGNMENTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE.
Q. What happens if I do not return my season ticket application by the April 1st deadline?
A. All season tickets not paid for by the ticket deadline will be released to fill other orders. Any season ticket application received after the deadline will be allocated to the best remaining available seat(s) based on per seat donation and Priority Point total.
