Calculation Dates

On January 21, 2011 the 12th Man Foundation Board of Trustees approved a change to the Aggie Access Priority Program calculation dates. Moving forward, June 1 will continue to be the primary calculation date to determine donor ranking relative to the assignment of football season tickets and parking privileges as well as the annual donor recognition initiative, The Top 1,000 listing, which is contained in each of the football game day programs. All other benefits will be allocated based on an event specific calculation date and the January 1 calculation date will be discontinued.

To give you an example of the change, with the NCAA tournament approaching, you will soon be given an opportunity to request tickets. On the forthcoming ticket application you will find a “Priority Point Calculation Date” that will be designated in conjunction with the deadline to request tickets and prior to the commencement of the assignment process.  Subsequently, 12th Man Foundation members will be afforded the opportunity to have recent contributions recognized in the event specific calculation process and this will further reward their generosity as the increase in priority points will also increase the likelihood of receiving tickets.

It is only after concluding a thorough review of the previous methodology and examining best practices of peer institutions that we felt moved to suggest a formal ratification of the 12th Man Foundations Aggie Access Priority Point Program.  Entering its sixth year of application, the priority point program has become a critical asset to 12th Man Foundation members and staff, ensuring the fair and equitable distribution of benefits in a transparent manner.  This important modification will allow the 12th Man Foundation to improve the Aggie Access Priority Program to more fairly and adequately allocate benefits to you.
