Aggie Football Season Ticket Holder Opt-In/Out Option

August 21, 2020

There is truly no comparison to gameday in Aggieland. While the 2020 season will be unlike any other as our university, state and country continue to confront unprecedented challenges presented by COVID-19, the return of Aggie Football to Kyle Field each fall is one of the most celebrated moments of the year.

As a season ticket holder, you are the lifeblood that fuels Texas A&M Athletics. You provide vital support for the development of our student-athletes and make gameday at Kyle Field an unrivaled experience. In recognition of the crucial role you play in funding championship athletics and the unique circumstances surrounding the 2020 football season, you have an opportunity to make a personal choice to opt in or out of 2020 season tickets.

Season Ticket holders who elect to opt in will need to log into their account and complete the opt in form.

The deadline to indicate your choice is Wednesday, Aug. 26.

Regardless of your choice to opt in or out of 2020 season tickets, all current season ticket holders will have the ability to renew their original seat location(s) for the 2021 season.

OPTING IN

Season ticket holders who opt in will be asked to participate in a reduced capacity seat selection process reflective of the new distanced seating configuration. The seat selection process is scheduled to begin in early September and will be based on priority point rank as of March 2, 2020. Appointment times and dates will be communicated to you via email in late August.

At your appointment time in September, you will be able to select from available inventory in the stadium. While quantity limitations may be imposed dependent on the final number of season ticket holders who opt in, all current season ticket holders who opt in will be guaranteed season tickets in this plan. For any selection that exceeds the cost of your current ticket investment, payment will be required when completing the process. If your selection cost is less than your current ticket investment, donation and refund options will be presented when the 2020 season is completed.

Please note: If you choose to opt in, you will have the opportunity to opt out during the seat selection process if your preferred seating location is not available.

OPTING OUT

Season ticket holders who choose to opt out will be presented donation and refund options, including the opportunity to convert their ticket investment to a tax-deductible, philanthropic annual donation in support of Texas A&M Athletics to receive a limited time up to 4X priority point bonus.

Your football season ticket investment is critical to providing essential resources like nutrition, academic support and mental health services for more than 600 Aggie student-athletes in all sports. By giving back all or a portion of your refund, you can ensure our student-athletes are cared for during these uncertain times and prepare them to be successful in competition, in the classroom and in life.

Please note: If you choose to opt out, you will be redirected to a webpage with information regarding your impact as a season ticket holder as well as a link to log in and access a personal opt-out form that will include your donation and refund options. Your refund amounts presented on the form are reflective of your account balance as of Aug. 18 and exclude prepayments made in prior years (if applicable). This opt-out form must be submitted to begin processing your donation/refund request.

With a goal of hosting fans at Kyle Field as safely as possible this season, Texas A&M has announced a reduced capacity, distanced seating plan for the 2020 season. This plan focuses on the recommended health protocols and risk mitigation tactics for the well-being of student-athletes, fans and staff.

Maximizing student attendance at Kyle Field this fall remains a top priority as Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation are committed to honoring the unrivaled tradition of the 12th Man and college football's best student section. Similar to the options presented to season ticket holders, students who have purchased a sports pass are also being presented the option to opt in or out of the 2020 season.

Ticket delivery information as well as important updates regarding other gameday activities will be communicated as details are confirmed and plans evolve.

Please note: If you do not opt out of 2020 season tickets, you will automatically be opted into the seat selection process.

Texas A&M Announces Reduced Capacity Plan for Kyle Field

August 19, 2020

Season ticket holders will have the option to opt in or out of the 2020 season

In preparation for the return of Aggie Football, Texas A&M has established a reduced capacity, distanced seating plan designed to host fans at Kyle Field as safely as possible while focusing on the recommended health protocols and risk mitigation tactics for the well-being of student-athletes, fans and staff.

While the situation continues to evolve, Texas A&M's plan ensures that attendance at Kyle Field during the 2020 season will comply with Texas Governor Greg Abbott's Executive Order GA-28 limiting the normal operating capacity for outdoor sporting venues. The exact capacity percentage will be determined based on the number of season ticket holders and student sport pass holders who choose to attend. While the football season is scheduled to begin Sept. 26, a number of factors may impact the anticipated attendance at later home games. As of today, the initial anticipated attendance to begin the season is approximately 25 percent of normal stadium operating capacity. This is subject to change based on emerging information as well as local and state health developments.

TICKET INFORMATION & OPTIONS

On Friday, Aug. 21, the 12th Man Foundation will communicate directly with season ticket holders to give them the option to opt in or out of 2020 season tickets.

Season ticket holders who elect to opt in for the 2020 season will participate in a special, reduced capacity seat selection process to increase distance between groups of fans and will be eligible for the adjusted season ticket and donation pricing (see below for more information on 2020 ticket prices). While quantity limitations may be imposed dependent on the final number of season ticket holders who opt in, all current season ticket holders will be guaranteed season tickets in this plan. The seat selection process is scheduled to begin in early September and will be based on priority point rank as of March 2, 2020.

Season ticket holders who choose to opt out will be presented donation and refund options at that time, including the opportunity to convert their season ticket investment to a tax-deductible, philanthropic annual donation in support of Texas A&M Athletics to receive a limited time up to 4X priority point bonus.

Over 50 percent ($76 million) of Texas A&M Athletics' operating budget is directly funded by 12th Man Foundation donors and ticket buyers of all Aggie sports. Football tickets and contributions stand out as the lifeblood for Aggie Athletics accounting for $65.4 million of the athletics department's revenue. Season ticket holders who elect to opt out for the 2020 season are encouraged to consider donating all or a portion of their total ticket investment to the 12th Man Foundation in support of Texas A&M Athletics and Aggie student-athletes during this unprecedented time.

All current season ticket holders, regardless of their choice to opt in or out of 2020 season tickets, will have the ability to renew their original seat location(s) for the 2021 season.

Maximizing student attendance at Kyle Field this fall remains a top priority as Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation are committed to honoring the unrivaled tradition of the 12th Man and college football's best student section. Similar to the options presented to season ticket holders, students who have purchased a sports pass will have the ability to opt in or out of the 2020 season.

Ticket delivery information as well as important updates regarding other gameday activities will be communicated as details are confirmed and plans evolve.

SEASON TICKET AND DONATION COSTS REDUCED

As announced by the Southeastern Conference, the 2020 season will consist of a 10-game, conference-only schedule with the Aggies hosting Vanderbilt, Florida, Arkansas, Ole Miss and defending national champion LSU. Prior to the SEC's decision to adjust the schedule, Texas A&M was slated to host non-conference opponents ACU, North Texas, Colorado and Fresno State at Kyle Field.

In recognition of this schedule modification as well as the vital role season ticket holders play in supporting championship athletics, the 12th Man Foundation has reduced the cost of associated seat donations for all seating areas by two-sevenths to reflect the adjustment from seven to five home games. In addition, Texas A&M Athletics has revalued ticket prices for the bench, benchback, armchair and premium (suites/club/loge) areas of the stadium.

ADJUSTED 2020 FOOTBALL SEASON TICKET PRICES

Ticket Price by Type:

  • Touchdown View/New Grad: $300
  • Bench: $475
  • Benchback: $491
  • Armchair: $498
  • Suites/Club/Loge: $523

*Ticket prices listed do not include associated seat donations or processing fees.

For season ticket holders who opt in for the 2020 season, final reductions in seating donation and ticket costs will be executed at the completion of the season.

MAKING THE KYLE FIELD GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE

Acting upon the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Texas Department of State Health Services and community and Texas A&M University health officials, a number of measures will be deployed to promote a safe gameday experience at Kyle Field. These guidelines include:

  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitization procedures throughout the stadium prior to and during all events
  • Following Texas Governor Greg Abbott's Executive Order GA-29, face coverings (over the nose and mouth) will be required as a condition of fan entry, egress and movement throughout the stadium as well as any time when individual(s) are not able to maintain a safe physical distance from others not in the same household. Ushers and other stadium staff will be prepared to enforce the face covering requirement. Not following the face covering requirement can result in removal from the stadium.
  • Required fan exit routes through directional signage and usher guidance
  • Signage and queue alterations in common areas encouraging proper physical distance
  • Hand sanitization and washing stations located throughout the stadium
  • Increased physical spacing while using elevators and escalators
  • Concessions featuring cashless transactions

Information regarding tailgating and other gameday activities will be released at a later date. For a complete list of Gameday Safety Procedures, click here.

The University has also shared the plan with Brazos County health officials and is implementing procedures to provide the safest environment possible. A risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place, including sporting events at Texas A&M. Fans with pre-existing health conditions or who are otherwise at risk should consider not attending on-campus sporting events during this unprecedented time.

As we continue preparations for the 2020 season and hosting fans at Kyle Field your patience is appreciated. Our staff can be reached by phone at 888-99-AGGIE Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by email at customersupport@12thmanfoundation.com

Update on 2020 Football Schedule

July 30, 2020

The Southeastern Conference has announced a 10-game, league-only football schedule to kick off on September 26. Additional information regarding the Texas A&M football schedule will be communicated by conference and university officials as details are confirmed.

In response to the schedule adjustment, Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation will be reducing the cost of season tickets and the associated seat donations reflective of the modified schedule. As dates, opponents and additional details are made available, further communication regarding these reductions, along with donation and refund options, will be provided to season ticket holders.

Texas A&M continues to evaluate plans to host fans at Kyle Field with guidance from health experts, governmental leaders and university officials.

For more information on the SEC's announcement, click here.

We ask for your patience as we gather additional information on how this evolving situation impacts season ticket holders and current students. Our staff can be reached by phone at 888-992-4443 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by email at customersupport@12thmanfoundation.com

Statements from Director of Athletics, Ross Bjork

"This is the right decision for the SEC, our athletics program, and most importantly the well-being of our student-athletes. Given the evolving nature of the current health challenge and the potential variables our University faces when thousands of students return to College Station, we believe a late September start for college football gives our students, student-athletes, staff, coaches, and university community the safest environment possible. An 'SEC-only' schedule gives us clarity, hope, and optimism as we approach the weeks and months ahead.

"In the near term, we will be releasing specific details of our Kyle Field capacity plan that follow Governor Abbott's executive orders, and will provide options for season ticket holders, students, and fans so they can experience Texas A&M and SEC football in 2020. We will also work with the University of Arkansas and officials at AT&T Stadium to officially move our game to Kyle Field since we are the designated home team for this season."

Priority Point Bonus Program Available to Season Ticket Holders and Donors

July 23, 2020

Your financial commitment as a season ticket holder is crucial to funding championship athletics at Texas A&M. The 12th Man Foundation and Texas A&M Athletics have recently instituted budget reductions exceeding 10 percent in this very challenging time for our university, state and country. The leadership of both organizations will continue to evaluate our environment and enact further reductions as appropriate.

In recognition of what your support makes possible for Texas A&M Athletics and in response to the COVID-19 health crisis, the 12th Man Foundation Board of Trustees has approved a limited-time priority point bonus program for season ticket holders and donors.

While we remain hopeful that season ticket holders and students can attend games at Kyle Field this fall, SEC and Texas A&M officials have not made a definitive decision regarding the upcoming fall athletics seasons.

No action is required at this time, however we encourage you to review the various priority point bonuses outlined below and retain your season tickets until a decision is made regarding the 2020 football season to be eligible for the maximum bonus points.

Priority Point Bonus Program

The following priority point bonus offerings are available to season ticket holders:

  • LOYALTY BONUS: Season ticket holders who retain their tickets and are able to attend games at Kyle Field this fall will be eligible for a loyalty priority point bonus (an additional allocation of points equivalent to the points you already received for your 2020 season tickets (10 points/ticket) and associated seat donations (1 point/$25)).
  • Up to 2X or 4X CONVERSION BONUS: Season ticket holders whose season tickets are canceled and choose to convert all or a portion of their football seat contribution and tickets to a tax-deductible philanthropic annual donation receive a conversion priority point bonus (Up to 2X bonus or up to 4X bonus).
    • Note: If you choose to convert now you will be eligible for up to a 2X bonus and you will not be eligible for the potential up to 4X bonus. The potential up to 4X bonus will be made available in the event Kyle Field capacity is reduced to less than 50 percent or the season is canceled.
  • .25X TRANSFER BONUS: Season ticket holders whose season tickets are canceled and choose to transfer all or a portion of their football seat contribution and tickets toward renewal of 2021 football season tickets receive a transfer priority point bonus (.25X bonus in addition to the points received for your 2020 renewal).
More information and specifics on the Priority Point Bonus Program

Note: Season ticket holders who retain their 2020 season tickets as well as those whose season tickets are canceled due to COVID-related concerns will be eligible to renew their seats for the 2021 season.

New Gift Bonus

Fall Sports Renewal Update

Soccer, Volleyball, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball season ticket holders can renew their seats beginning June 9

May 26, 2020

Aggieland isn't the same without students or sporting events.

Gathering with family, friends and fellow Aggies is one of our most valued traditions, however, this spring has been anything but traditional. As we have all confronted many unforeseen challenges during this uniquely trying time, excitement and anticipation to see our teams and student-athletes return to competition is at an all-time high.

Encouraged by recent news that the Southeastern Conference is moving forward to allow voluntary in-person athletics activities and with optimism for the return of events to campus this fall, Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation are moving forward with season ticket renewals for Aggie Soccer, Volleyball, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball.

At this important time, we want to reaffirm our sincere appreciation for you as a season ticket holder. To honor your financial commitment, Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation pledge to act in the best interest of our ticket buyers in the event that the schedules for these programs are significantly impacted by the lingering effects of the health crisis. This would include refunds for the cancellation of games or the restriction of spectators.

Additionally, during the renewal process you will have multiple payment options to provide flexibility for renewing your seats. Included in these payment choices is an option to complete your renewal with no immediate payment via a deferred payment plan. If you have any questions prior to or during the renewal process, please contact our staff at 888-992-4443 or customersupport@12thmanfoundation.com.

We look forward to continuing our tradition of gathering to support our Aggie student-athletes and hope to see you at Ellis Field and Reed Arena this fall!

Important Update on 2020 12th Man Foundation Summer Meeting

May 7, 2020

Dear Donors,

One of our most anticipated events each year is the 12th Man Foundation Summer Meeting.

Since 1979 the Summer Meeting has stood out as an annual tradition to gather with fellow Aggies and celebrate our shared passion for Texas A&M Athletics.

While we remain encouraged by the progress in the fight against COVID-19 and optimistic for the return of students and events to campus this fall, the 12th Man Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Summer Meeting. Following much discussion, it has been determined that it is not in the best interest of our donors, coaches, student-athletes and staff to meet in person as planned.

Since we will be unable to convene June 25-28 at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio, our staff will host a series of virtual events highlighting the positive impact donors are making on Texas A&M Athletics and in the lives of our amazing student-athletes. We will provide additional details in the coming weeks as we look forward to honoring your commitment to the past and future success of Texas A&M Athletics.

A Note to our Football Season Ticket Holders

April 22, 2020

The return of Aggie football to Kyle Field each fall is one of the most celebrated moments of the year. Enthusiasm and anticipation for the upcoming football season is even greater following the unprecedented events that resulted in the cancellation of collegiate sports this spring.

While the COVID-19 health crisis has presented unique challenges for both Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation, our organizations remain focused on the well-being of our student-athletes, staff and fans. We maintain our commitment to providing exemplary service to our season ticket buyers and donors whose loyal support allows us to compete at the highest level.

We understand there is speculation regarding football this fall. We remain encouraged with the progress in the fight against COVID-19 and are proceeding with the expectation that the season will commence as planned. Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation will follow the guidance of health experts, governmental leaders, university officials and the SEC, with health and safety as our highest priority.

As part of our commitment to our donors and ticket buyers, we feel it is prudent to provide information in the event the upcoming football schedule is altered or outright canceled.

In the event that the 2020 football season is canceled in its entirety, season ticket holders would be offered refund options for both the cost of their tickets and the associated seat contribution. Options would include:

  • Applying the refund as a credit toward 2021 football season tickets.
  • Refunding the full amount to the method of payment originally used.
  • Donating all or a portion of the refund to the 12th Man Foundation in support of Texas A&M Athletics.

In the event that the 2020 season is played but materially altered, there are many scenarios that could result in season ticket holders being impacted. Regardless of the scenario, Texas A&M Athletics and the 12th Man Foundation will act in the best interest of our season ticket holders and honor their financial commitment.

Season ticket holders are the lifeblood that fuels Texas A&M Athletics to provide unmatched support for our student-athletes as they compete on the biggest stage and make gameday at Kyle Field an unrivaled experience.

While we will not be able to accommodate in-person office visits for a period of time, our staff is ready to serve donors and will resume other service operations on Wednesday, March 18. Additionally, our staff can be reached at any time by emailing customersupport@12thmanfoundation.com.

All athletics activities, including competitions, for member schools have been suspended by the Southeastern Conference through April 15 (Update: On March 17, all competitions for the remainder of the spring semester were canceled). In partnership with Texas A&M Athletics, information on refunds for tickets purchased directly through the 12th Man Foundation for events during this time will be released in the near future.

The health and well-being of our staff, donors and ticket buyers is our top priority while we work through the impact of this ongoing situation. We will communicate information regarding upcoming 12th Man Foundation events and services at the appropriate time as updates and details become clearer.

We are thankful for your generous support of Texas A&M Athletics and our student-athletes through the 12th Man Foundation and hope that you and your family are safe during this time.
