A note about the recently-passed tax legislation:
As you may be aware, new federal tax legislation was passed that eliminates the charitable deduction currently allowed for the purchase of seating at an athletic event. The specific impact for season ticket holders is the loss of tax deductibility of required annual seat contributions for seats purchased for Texas A&M Athletics events. This change will go into effect January 1, 2018.
If you wish to pre-pay all (or a portion) of your required annual seat contribution for upcoming football, basketball, and/or baseball seasons prior to the end of this calendar year, you may do so through the methods listed above. More details are available here. As always, please consult your tax advisor to determine the deductibility of your gifts.
Thank you again for your support of the 12th Man Foundation and Texas A&M Athletics. We hope you have a happy New Year!
